 Aquaculture JOBS:

Fishery Biologist I

Fish Hatchery Research Technician working for a NOAA contractor on a temporary contract of approximately 6 months

Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Biology or related science and 1 year of experience.

Location: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Manchester Research Station located at Port Orchard, Washington

Duties: Full time position includes occasional weekend work and some overtime. Duties include, but are not limited to collection of brood stock, fish feeding and husbandry, diet preparation, water quality monitoring, larval fish culture, egg incubation, zooplankton culture, maintenance of culture systems, construction of fish rearing systems, data collection and data entry. Experience with Artemia and rotifer culture desired, but not necessary.

Salary based on $15.75 per hour plus paid medical and dental plan
